Wow- another month gone!

I can't believe it's March almost! I was going to be so good & keep up with posts. I guess that happens when you go out of town, Isabelle gets the flu, & things just get crazy.

We went to Cici's Pizza for a fieldtrip- this is the pizza Makenna got to make & enjoy.

Grammie was a chaperone & Reese and Aunt Sarah joined us as well- what a treat!

AND- we finally came up with a name for the baby! Holden Read- named after Patrick's uncle, and he was named that because it was a family name. Boy- it's hard to find names after teaching for so many years! But we are both happy at last! And he'll be here in 10 weeks... wow...

Donuts with Dad (um.. make that with Papa!)

Today was Donuts with Dad at preschool. Since Patrick had work committments, Papa came! Which is really better- I got to have MY dad there too! In addition to having donut holes & juice, he got to wear a really pretty tie Makenna made for him,
did a little drawing,
counting,
and lots of other fun jobs! (And I think he is now envious of my "tough" job!)

Thanks, dad- I love you!

Father/ Daughter Dance

Friday Night was the Adventure Princess Father/ Daughter Dance. In total style, they went with a group in a Hummer Limo- which I have never gotten to do!

She came home so excited about her evening- friends, dancing, doing the congo, limbo, balloons- and a trip to Sonic in the limo! This is certainly a memory that she will always treasure!

AND... check out that fancy "do" for the event! I may just open a little side business- Sweet & Sassy- watch out! (Of course it helps to have all that hair)

Busy Weekend

Miss Fancy pants... We were out & about Saturday- and Makenna insisted on wearing the sparkly dress & pink hair with her clothes. I have to admit I'm a little jealous- I guess I just couldn't pull it off!THEN, I got to help out with the Girlscout Valentine's party, and of course helping meant making sure the chocolate fountain was good enough to eat!
Isabelle had such a great time- she loved doing crafts, opening valentines, and of course the fabulous snacks! (Just think- she gets to do it all over again at school valentine's party!)
